2024 Regional Meetings

Nominations for Regional Union positions are now open and will close February 6, 2024 at the Regional meetings. If you haven’t already, register now to attend a Regional Meeting.

Register for the Vancouver island meeting – February 6 @ 3:30pm
Register for the Lower Mainland meeting – February 6 @ 7:30pm

The following positions are up for nomination:

Vancouver Island Region 

• One (1) Regional Vice-President (1-year term)
• Four (4) Occupational Health and Safety Representatives (1-year term)
• Ten (10) Regional Stewards (1-year term)
• One (1) Bylaw Committee Member (1-year term)

Lower Mainland Region 

• One (1) Regional Vice-President (1-year term)
• Twelve (12) Occupational Health and Safety Representatives (1-year term)
• Fifteen (15) Regional Stewards (1-year term)
• One (1) Bylaw Committee Member (1-year term)

Once you nominate someone, nominees will be contacted by email and must accept their nomination either in advance of or at the Regional meetings. All valid nomination acceptances will be announced at the Regional Meetings. When the nominations period at this membership meeting closes, there will be no further opportunities to accept a nomination.
