Dear Members,
We are sharing the below on behalf of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. They are surveying public safety personnel and first responders – please consider taking 15 minutes to complete their survey to help shape crisis line services in Canada. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know at executive.ecpbc.ca.
Have you ever contacted a crisis line? If not, what stopped you?
We’re sharing a national survey on behalf of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) to understand what public safety personnel or first responders want and need from a crisis line. Crisis line services are changing in Canada and this research study will ensure that your views are heard.
The survey asks you what might help you feel comfortable reaching out to a crisis line – and about any barriers that might prevent you from reaching out.
The anonymous survey takes just 15 minutes to complete. Anything you share will be kept completely confidential and will help shape crisis line services in Canada – including the new 988 service coming in November 2023.
